NATURAL DYE WORKSHOP

Join us for this in-depth four day workshop to explore the biodiversity of natural dye colour palettes of Copenhagen. It will be held from Thursday 13th to Sunday 16th of September.

You will learn to cook with colour from the unique Nordic early autumn colour palette. Highlighting locally available materials and ingredients, we’ll experiment with and dye an array of naturally sourced colours and plant dyed textiles. Our workshop will include special foraging field trips to learn about edible dye-producing plants in the wild, as well as collaborations with local and seasonal urban sources of colour from an abundance of weeds and waste. On the last day of our course, we will create and share a delicious meal made together- exploring the seasonal colour and taste palette of Copenhagen – highlighting the biodiversity of colours made with the same ingredients!

PLACE: Material Design Lab, Guldbergsgade 29N
COST: 4.500DKK
